Version 2.0 - We’re Updating Class Tasks
After some very helpful teacher feedback, we’re excited to announce that we’ve updated the Class Tasks feature. In case you haven’t heard of the Class Tasks feature yet, here’s a brief overview:
Class Tasks allow teachers to direct a quiz to their whole class with a resource always included as a learning element. This allows them to get a snapshot of how their class is doing in a specific area. The design of these quizzes also mean that students can make huge progress in the specific area (see the progress tab) as Class Tasks are hyper focused and offer chances to correct mistakes. Teachers can now define a start and end date, and time for each Class Task.
What’s changed in Version 2.0?
We’ve taken onboard teacher feedback, done our own research and testing, and made the following improvements to Class Tasks:
We’ve removed the limit of one Class Task per teacher, per class, per week. Teachers can now set as many Class Tasks as they need. This was one of the most requested updates and having seen that Class Tasks have been so popular, we’re happy to be able to offer this change.
Teachers can define a start and end date/time for each Class Task, giving flexibility to use Class Tasks to fit how and when teachers teach. (Please note that any Class Tasks created under Version 1 should have a retroactive start date set as the date it was created.)
The view of a Class Task has changed for editing and reviewing purposes. This gives teachers a cleaner look to the platform, making it easier to set a Class Task.
Better ordering of subjects and themes for selection when creating Class Tasks, to make the process even simpler.
